Eastridge is indeed a great school for so many reasons. My grandchildren have been going there for the past eight years and they have always like it. They are personable, they care about the students personally. They do pay individual attentions to the students personal needs. They are not just a number. They really do help them with the star test so they can do well in it.
My son loves Eastridge Elementary, and our family has appreciated our relationship with the staff and faculty of the school. We especially have loved the principals' and counselor's consistently active and visible role in the every day working of the school. They really seem to know and love each student. I have two minor critiques. 1) sometimes information coming from the office feels last-minute, but that's infrequent. 2) The teachers are excellent, but they seem fairly traditional in their approaches as a whole. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but I haven't seen much evidence that there's ongoing consideration of new and interesting teaching methods and approaches. On the other hand, I'm pleased that this school hasn't bowed to the CSCOPE machine but has instead integrated the product in the ways it fits best. Overall, my son loves school and is learning, and that's the most important thing.
I absolutely love how the staff and students care for my child. She loves EES!
My daughter is high fuctioning Autistic and they have gone above an beyond to diagnose and get her the help she needs help her learn. The teachers really care, and all four of my children have attended this elementary. I am proud to have them attend this school.
Eastridge Elementary is a great school. My two children attend there and I am very pleased with their academic success. The teachers and staff have done many great things for the students. I am very happy and pleased with Eastridge. They are all amazing and wonderful. Thank you
We love our School, Teachers and Staff! Couldnt ask for a better Elementary School! I pray for our school daily that they will continue to be such aspiring people for our children.
As a parent, I am grateful to have a school and staff that I can trust to teach and guide my children. My family and I have been with ROISD for the past two years and have never experienced such exemplary learning and family/teacher oriented schools. I'd like to say thank you to the staff and directors for making this possible.
This school is very organized. I love the emails, the txts from my child's class, the phone calls. It helps to keep the parents informed on all the activities and important messages. Theonline access to my child's work. I couldn't ask for anything more. Thanks Eastridge.
Eastridge is a great school. The teachers really care about the studets and work with them all the time. I really like the new R time program. We teach our son manners at home, but not every child gets the same lessons. The school has stepped up to not only teach the important academic skills, but they also teach the important manner skills.
My son is in kinder at ERE this year and has enjoyed every minute of it! He is also in the G &T pogram and enjoys that as well. I can not say enough about the quality of education I feel my child is getting. I am very pleased and am looking forward to my daughters 1st year there and crossing my fingers she has the same teacher as my son since we already have a good rapport. The staff is caring all the way around even the lunch room staff. The programs there are outstanding and fun for the kids. wonderful things going on there, check it out for yourself and come see whats going on at ERE!!!
I think that the school is good for the most part. They do work hard at offering a good overall education. I do believe that the over all success of your childs education has much to do with which teacher they are assigned to. My childs kindergarten teacher is up in age (near retirement in my opinion). I've observed her classroom and she lacks the energy to keep up with 5 & 6 year olds. The times that I have spoken with her she just doesn't seem to be very caring. On a positive note, my child has learned lots this school year. I do wish they offered morning/afternoon watch care, after school activities and/or sports.
I think the school is wonderful! there are great teachers and staff with manageable classroom sizes; my children learn a lot and love the school as I do! the only drawback is the lack of after school activities and sports!
Eastridge Elementary is a great school. The Teachers I have come into contact with have been very helpful and great with the children. The staff is very friendly.
This is our third year at Eastridge and I am one of their biggest fans. From the principal to the staff and right down to the parents, I can confidently say that the students at Eastridge have an advocate one way or another because their success and well being is top priority. I continue to be impressed by the caring and professional staff. They also have a very strong PTA following which accomplishes alot for the students and campus. Eastridge and its staff are also very good about keeping some fun in school too. With so much stress on testing anymore, it's nice the kids are also able to create fun memories to remember for years to come.
I absolutley love this school! My kids are excelling in every class and the teachers are wonderful. I would recommend Eastridge to everyone. Both of my kids have been at this school since kindergarten and they are in third and first grades now. I am very glad we moved to this part of Red Oak.
I think Eastridge is a fabulous school! I am on the PTA, and I have been nothing but pleased with my daughter's teachers. I look forward to my son attending kindergarten there in 2 years! Heather Freeman
My son just started at Eastridge he is in Kindergarten. I heard nothing but great things about Eastridge in the past and I cannot say enough great things about it now that we are here. The teachers are incredible, the new principal is the most dedicated and energetic and the PTA is very involved in helping the kids and the faculty. I am so happy to be a part of this community and above all Eastridge Elementary. I would recommend this school to my closest of friends!
My son went to this school for Kindergarten and we didn't like it. The teachers spend all their time either dealing with the 'problem' students or ignoring them. Not enough extra activities for the kids that want more challenges and are ahead of their classes. There's hardly any parent involvement. We'll be going somewhere else next year.
This is a great school with great teachers. Very close-knit, family-friendly community. Eastridge has a new principal this year and she is doing a great job and has many plans to technically advance this school. The fine arts techer is as good as they come!
Eastridge is a wonderful school with wonderful staff. The teachers are great. Eastridge has a very active PTA with staff participation.
