Overall I would rate CCCA as very good Baptist school although they high student to teacher ratio of 24 to 1. The last couple of years they have dropped Art and Spanish due to budget constraints. CCCA is very heavy on the paper work and need to incorporate more hands on in all areas of their curriculum. I would like them to have a more rounded curriculum.
The tuition increase was about 25% this year and the enrollment was down about 150 students. The administration is basically unreachable and emails/phonecalls do not get returned. The administration also have eliminated Art programs for elementary students K-4 through 4th grade which I feel takes away from the general enrichment of these young students. Also computer keyboarding was stopped for 3rd & 4th grade. Elementary Spanish - which is very helpful - living in this part of Texas, is no longer offered to our students.I hope our children do not suffer not having these basic subjects. Several basic repairs in this school also were brought to the Administration attention like water fountains that do not work and toliets that dont flush properly, all to no avail.
