This school is a 3 for a reason. I am a very involved parent and when it comes to my children's education I have high expectations. It's really sad that the majority (not all) of the parents in this community are just happy to send their kids off to "free daycare" so they don't have to deal with them personally. There should be higher standards in place to require parental involvement rather than lower standards to accommodate a lazy community. There should be structure and discipline, consequences and rewards not just chaos. All teachers should be held to the same standards and there needs to be accountability to ensure this. Overall this school is really sad and the worst part is that the parents don't care about what is really going on during the day or how much their kids are really missing out on. They are just happy to be ignorant and praise their child's teacher without really caring how this school stacks up against others. Having a teacher that is "friendly" just doesn't cut it.

This school is really great. The teachers, the programs, the people make it fun and keep teaching interesting for the students.

I am a parent of a 3rd grader here at this school. My son's teachers are the best in the world and I wish he could have them all the way through his schooling. The teachers take the time to really try to help your child achieve their full potential. Even the special education teachers and the principal and counselors make sure your child doesn't fall through the cracks!
