My son has attended S&S CISD schools since the first grade. He has had nothing but a great experience and fantastically positive, enthusiastic and well-educated teachers. S&S HS has given him opportunities to participate in an abundance of advanced courses and activities which he would have never been able to participate in at a larger school. His extra-curriculars have required cooperation from 3 and 4 staff members at a time to allow him to participate in his choices and everyone has willingly accommodated him to enable this to happen. As a parent I can't say enough positive about the district and the high school.

S&S is a great school, and its smallness helps the students learn easier. And even though its sports dosent win all the time, it has exceptionally good academics and fine arts (excspecially its Theatre) it is a great school, good things can come in small packages. -T

S&S academically can flip flop. If it's the UIL competitions, it's one of the best. If it's classroom academics, it's not so hot. Being a small school it can't offer a whole lot when it comes to extracurricular activities, but I feel they do pretty good considering the circumstances. I don't feel the parents are as involved in their student's school activities as they could be. Granted people must work, but they should take time out of their schedule to encourage and support their child's education. After all, isn't that what a child has to fall back on?
