Austin Elementary has caring teachers and staff. The school provides an excellent learning environment for the kids. My son has attended Austin from 1st to present (4th grade) and has enjoyed all of his teachers, as have I.
I don't feel the teachers care anymore, the kids go to school to be taught and are coming home not understanding what they are to do. If they get a bad grade it is now considered bad conduct. When did your grade become bad behavior? The counselor is awesome, Mr Freatman, good man. Homework is horrible, 4 or more pages at times, when do the kids have time for themselves?
Average education programs, very poor respect shown to guests from students, and nothing done by the teachers available. Hope to move soon.
