The positives: I only had the pleasure to be impressed with the teachers in (Pre-k thru 2nd) Each one I interacted with you could tell they cared! Lots of parent/teacher communication. Faculty was friendly. Monthly, weekly, occasional daily circulars of what's happening or what's needed is circulated. Much emphasis on improving education. Great PTA! At least I see them trying to do some good. Safety was a priority! The negatives: Crowded. Small classrooms. Needs improvement on teaching.(but I see them trying to change) Need a new school. Lack of technology in the classrooms. Library use minimal. Many new teachers and a principal who is not visible. Office staff unapproachable. Perhaps all that has changed since November 2003.
