I have been the music teacher at Santa Rita for 4 years (beginning 2005). And this sure is an Incredible Community! Hope you join us soon, and I hope I retire from here!

This is a good school academically, there are some odd politics amongst the administration and parents that do affect the students.

Santa Rita is by far the best public school available to children in this community , all grades have excellent teachers teaching beyond what is expected and helping children further understand their studies. Many of the teachers had their own children attend Santa Rita and have attended Santa Rita themselves. Santa Rita is very much like a private school, if you are looking for the best public elementry school then youve found it

The administration of this school is very involved with the actual academics at the school which is a plus. However sometimes administrative duties are neglected due to overinvolvement in minute details of social interaction between students. Playground disputes are paramount, which unfortunately fosters negative interaction among the students. Disciplinary action is commonly taken from second-hand student reports. Meanwhile physical facilities and communication with parents are neglected. It is not uncommon to leave a message with the administrative assistants for a teacher or administrator and never receive and answer.
