I think that with 71% economically disadvantaged and 19% special ed, the highest in the district, it is admirable that this school has the TAKS results they do. Let me also say, that to blame the teachers for how discipline is handled is naive at best. The teachers do not dole out the discipline, the administrators do. Quit hanging everything on the teachers!

I am moving my child this summer to ensure she has more opportunity and focus on her accademic abilities than Lincoln MS has offerred. The children run completely wild and discipline seems to be dealt with as phone calls to parents and nothing enforced at school. Fights and gang activity have become a daily problem and my conferences with faculty have left me with the impression that they simply don't expect much from the children anyway so why try.
