The teachers are mainly good, but I have not been at all impressed with the administration. This is a school where the administrators only care about attendance and test scores. The kids are rewarded for perfect attendance by getting to play a game, which means that when my children are too ill to attend school and I keep them home, they cry because they're going to miss playing Minute to Win It. I understand encouraging attendance but it doesn't seem fair to punish the kids for being sick. Also, our old school focused a lot more on reading and a lot less on practicing for standardized tests, and the test scores there were comparable to the ones at Fisher. I think this is a district-wide issue, but the kids only have gym class every other day, and they have art and computer classes only once every ten days. I wish they had gym class daily.

Both my kids just started attending school here this year and were both bullied from the start because of their non-Hispanic ethnicity. Harassment or bullying should not be acceptable on any campuses across the country, but somehow it is here at Fisher Elementary. My oldest son had been bullied and harassed by students in his classes because of his ethnic background. Unless you're of Hispanic ethnicity, I would not recommend!

My kids have been attending this school for 2 years and the experience has been great. Teachers and staff are great and they really work great with children with special needs. Love this place and the people. Highly recommend it.

My son has been at this school for the past two years and I have to say the staff is very caring and very involved in the success of the students. Everyone is very friendly and eager to help you with any questions that you may have.

I think this school is great..I think the teachers are wonderful, they always keep you inform of everything. So you know your childs progress..This school is totally different from the school system in hawaii.. I'm shock of the school rating of the education level..
