My son has attended all the years since the school has opened. He has passed with commended in all subjects. The most important aspect is parent involvement is a must. The principal is always there to listen to students and their parents. In regards to the parent being upset about the front office,well there is 4 there. Everytime I have gone in there morning, lunch or before pick up... They are there.. Shirley, Vivian, Pat and I forgot her name. They have not been rude since the 4 years my son has attended. They have programs like PAL so parents can help out and get involved. They have science fairs, rocking recorders, astron program, plays.. safety patrol and much more for the students. My son enjoyed them all..

My daughter is in 1st grade now and has been at this school since kinder. I am pretty pleased with their daily parent pick up routine. They have wonderful teachers and the principal is very helpful. The only down side to this school is ONE LADY in the front office. She is rude rude rude! Everytime i have gone in there to ask a question or pick my daughter up early for appointments she has an attitude like no other. Other than her this school is Awesome.

My son attended Murnin for Pre-K and Kinder. The facilities are great (only 3 years old) and the teachers were wonderful. Good parental involvement with PTA and quarterly family fun nights.

My daughter just completed her Kinder year at Murnin and we loved it. Mrs. Guevara was a wonderful teacher who inspired my daughter to do her best in everything. She was constantly challenged and at the end of the year I could really see the progress she made when all her work books came home. It's amazing to see how much a child can learn in one year. I have friends with children in the 4th and 5th grades that haven't been happy with the school environment, but have had no problems with the teachers. And as for the younger grades, I think it's fabulous.

My son is in third grade at Murnin. He has attended 4 schools because we are in the military. He has been attending Murnin for two years now and has had excellent teachers both years.The teachers prepared him for the Taks so well that he was commended in both subjects (Missing only 1 on the reading, and none in the Math) We enjoy all of the activities offered by the school and I especially enjoy the art program that is offered. The school offers many opportunities for parents to become involved in their childrens learning which is important for the childs success. Almost all areas in this school are great. The only things I would change is the lunch menu-- There aren't enough healthy choices, and I would also encourage the school to set up a support system for children whose parents are serving in the military

My son just finished his kinder year at Murnin. We had a great experience here. His teacher was fabulous. She was not afraid to challenge the children that got the basic concepts. The office staff seem friendly and the school is nice. My son loved the art, music, PE, computer and library specials. The upper level grades even have a science room! Great school, Great teacher.

My 2nd grader loves this school. Plenty of reading and Math activities along with gym and music classes. The homework she brings home are challenging and encourages creativity. She also excels in spelling and did a research about an American inventor for the Science expo. She loves the music teacher and recently performed 'Disney Favorites' with all the grade 2 students. The school is in its 2nd yr of PTA and they support educational field trips (Zoo, Museums). Murnin is going on its 2nd yr and the school is very pretty and spacious. My daughter also feels safe going to this school and it has an after school program.
