Martin Elementary is a great school with a strong, supportive, administration and professional staff who are pillars of excellence and leadership. All the teachers I have met with or spoken to are consistently professional and helpful. The offered me supplemental educational resources to assist my student with his/her challenge. The staff also offers a differentiated approach to teaching, so a child who is ahead academically is not left unchallenged while others are still trying to catch up. Teachers identify challenges early-on through communication with math/reading/dyslexia specialists to help students achieve success. Even the counselor was a great help. The front office staff has always been courteous, friendly and are always willing to assist parents/visitors/students. I feel my child is in a safe environment because the communication amongst the staff is top notch. All staff that I have encountered from administration, office, nurse, counselor, cafeteria or teachers are what make Martin Elementary a great and organized school. They are the reason Northside is a premier school district, because they put children first! I am proud to be a Martin mom!
