When I attended, the academics were great but the dress code was REDICULOUSLY enforced. I mean to the point where you wouldn't be caught dead wearing the wrong undergarment. There was a lot of team spirit and the school was pretty close knit. I met a few teachers there that changed my life and gave me the inspiration I needed to continue my education in the future. (Of course there were teachers that were not helpful at all and hated their jobs, but in the long run, the teachers that influenced me were the helpful ones, not the hateful ones).

My students' academic program is very comprehensive and fulfilling. In addition, the opportunities afforded by participation in UIL activities and art and drama courses allow her the chance to become focused on what she has to look forward to in continuing her education and why she is working as hard as she is.
