Northern Hills is an inviting school where the teachers care about their students and are always striving to do more. The teachers work hard to motivate their students and consistently give of their own time for after school clubs and tutoring.

Academics seem decent, many of the teachers seem to sincerely care, but the upkeep of the school is horrendous. They let graffiti markings stay outside the school buildings for months before removing it. Also, there is not a bit of shade in the outside play area. Not good on a hot Texas days.
