God bless the teachers at Pat Neff. They have an extremely hard job to do. Parents expect teachers to be a miracle workers. If parents would correct their children home, teachers could actually teach with a required to teach.

Poor supervision and a horrible bullying problem. I suggest private or home schooling if you have middle school aged children in their area.

I went to Neff and loved the school. I remember 6th grade year hating it, but then you actually get to know the people and teachers and you learn to really love the place. The admin. was strict, but they were doing there job and I never really had a problem the teachers, staff, or admin. couldn't solve. So overall, it's a great school once you learn to like it.

This school has a wonderful principle, absolutly amazing counclers and indeed is strict but sadly they spend more time enforcing the dress code then more serious acts of misbehavior!My daughter absolutly hates it here,and doesn't find this as a proper learning enviorment.I'm afraid pat neff is in serious need of a behavior check when it comes to the very rude students

Though it is Recognized, the school environment is undesirable. The uniforms are nice, but don't change what students say and do.

The faculty are nice, but the administration is entirely over strict and hard to deal with. Especially when it comes to enforcing the dress code. I'd recommend this school if the administration was better, but they run it like a communistic nation.

My 13-year old went to 7th grade at Neff and I had to move to get her into a better school. She skipped school several times without it being brought to my attention. Perhaps she was involved with the wrong crowd, but I don't feel there is enough supervision at this school. Every time I went to the school, it seemed to be in chaos.

About the tests


In 2012-2013, the State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR) was used to test students in reading and math in grades 3 through 8; in writing in grades 4 and 7; in science in grades 5 and 8; in social studies in grade 8; and end-of-course assessments for English I, II, and II, Algebra I and II, biology and US History. STAAR is a standards-based test, which means it measures how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Texas. The goal is for all students to score at or above the state standard.

The different student groups are identified by the Texas Education Agency; if there are a small number of students in a particular group, the state doesn't report data for that group.
