Most of the teachers are great but some don't seem happy with their job and shows in the effort or there lack of. The principal, Ms. Guess, well to keep things nice all I will say is that the students, parents and staff were happier with the former principal.

the teachers here are good and seem to try to do every thing to make sure your childs doing well... this is my childs first year out of saiad and shes doing horrible..i dont know if its just because nisd is strict or my childs not really learning like she should be. im looking into private or charter in this area!

This is a very good school in the NISD area. The teachers are all very good and work very well with the children. My son went there for 6 years, from Pre-K through 5th grade. They not only worked with him thoroughly on his reading but they also worked with him in speech. What I liked about this public school is that there were a lot of resources available. My son got help with speech and also he was able to get help on his math. I only wished that there was more after school support. For example, like intensive one-on-one tutoring. Other than that, they worked well with him. The teachers kept me up-to-date on his work through email. They did not mind that I always emailed them to get feedback. Also, the principal was easily available. Also the teachers. There special education staff is wonderful. They are great.
