Every child is important to the teachers at Lamar Elementary School. Every child is excitedly reaching their potential everyday, and this learning experience is a team effort made by all, students, parents and teachers alike. The teachers present new knowledge as if it is a new experience. The children are continually amazed about how much there is to learn, but what amazes them most is that they are the most important part of it all.
Great class size, very caring staff. Wish they had more access to outside tutors/mentors in math and science.
Great teachers, and students are good kids. Some of the parents of these kids are scary though. No music program, but that's the districts fault. The Principal and teachers couldn't be better.
Lamar elementary is a great school. Providing children with small class sizes, allowing for more one on one with students. The staff and faculty are all great and caring. I feel safe and comfortable leaving my children at lamar to grow in their education while I go on to work.
