I have two of my children at this school in the early grades, and I have been very impressed with the education they are receiving. Having been a certified teacher myself, I believe these teachers are more than qualified to teach. I think all the teachers my children have had are model teachers. The SFA -Success for All - reading program is phenomenal. I have worked in some schools where the leadership was poor to good, but rarely have I seen a staff give its principal a standing ovation or speak so positively about the principal. I like the values they are teaching my children and the nurturing environment in which they are being educated.

Certifications do not make good teachers...good teachers make good teachers! St. Gregory the Great has fantastic teachers. Every school will have the wining parent who doesn't get their way...so they decide to get back at the school by the best means available...internet. These parents can stay hidden and not have to offer any supporting documentation for their false claims. St. Gregory students score extremely high on their yearly ITBS exams. This and many other FACTS can be found at the school...just by visiting.

This school lacks teachers who are certified by the Texas Education Agency in understanding child development. The leadership and teachers are very close minded to trying well researched approaches to educating children. They also are not receptive towards parent feed back and suggestions. Overall, for the price your better off sending your child somewhere else

We came from a school where the administration and staff didn't care about the students or parents, so when we came to St. Gregory we were pleasantly surprised. My son loves to go to school everyday and has not missed one day of school since starting at St. Gregory. My only regret is not coming to this school sooner. The administration and staff are excellent and always have big smiles on their faces. My son is learning and he is excelling because he is happy. I would recommend anyone to come to this school.

My family and I relocated to San Antonio this summer. Choosing a school was one of our greatest challenges. We feel blessed to have found St. Gregory the Great School. Our children are very happy there as are we. The administration, staff, parents and students are all committed to the school and the success of the St. Gregory's community as a whole. They also provide a wonderful afterschool program with many activities. I highly recommend this school if you are interested in a challenging academic environment with a commitment to discipline and character development in a caring and non-threatening manner.

Consistently strong leadership is one of the top reasons for the success of this school. Great teachers who are actually there to take time to teach and who really care about all facets of my child's education. Strong Catholic Identity. Advanced Technology. Over 20 different after school programs available from piano lessons to Astronomy Club.

St. Gregory's has the potential to be an excellent school. My children have been there for 2 years. This year we got a horrible teacher, she has an issue with me, I believe because I am Caucasian (theory, since I have never done anything to her). She hates my child; she will deduct points from his class work, any chance she gets.

Both my children have been attending this school for 2 years now. The staff, teachers and upper class students are very friendly. My children have enjoyed this school tremendously. Tuition is really steep but well worth every penny.

I love the small atmoshpere. The office staff is very professional. Everyone is very caring towards the students. The only thing I dont like is the lack of an Art program and Band for older students. Otherwise, the kids are safe and content.

Wonderful. My son has attended this school for three years now and the family-oriented close-knit feeling you have around the campus is obvious. He is happy there.

When I first sent my children to this school, I thought is was great until I found out if your child has any sort of extra needs academically the school will and cannot accommodate them. It is a shame that people spend so much money to have a quality catholic education, and if you don't fit the cookie cutter profile, they are not willing to work with the child who has any special needs. This school has also experienced tremendous growth within the past three years, and I suspect that their attitude will only get worse regarding issues like these.

My child has attended this school for three years now. My nephew has attended and graduated from this school. Both have been very successful academically, socially, and emotionally. I would recommend this school to anyone interested in challenging their child to achieve more and aim high.

An environment which develops the total child in an atmosphere of Christian values. Teachers are great and the principal is wonderful.

I have been very impressed with this school so far. They have thought about most every situation concerning children's safety. My nephew was in Pre-Kinder last year and is now in Kinder. The Pre-Kinder and Kinder are able to be dropped off under a carport connected to their classroom building. If it rains the children are driven to the cafeteria and never get wet. Also, the parents receive a daily report of their childs behavior for the day and their class work is sent home weekly for the parents to review. The school has truly implemented the meaning of 'It takes a village to raise a child'. The school keeps the parents very involved with the children so there are no surprises at the end of a grading period. It is a shame that the public schools cannot offer this kind of commitment.
