ive been going to this school since kindergarten. it is very interesting for me because we had all these field trips. i graduated kindergarten in 2002. being at this school was the best thing that ever happened to me. by the time my classmates and i graduated kindergarten, we were never allowed to take anymore naps. years went by, and i beame an eighth grader. we did a lot of fun activites together and it was a really good experience. i graduated 8th grade on May 29, 2010. i will never forget this school and all of the teachers that work here.

I graduated from St.philip of Jesus years ago and my brother and sister now attend this school.I love this school because it is very family oriented and everyone knows everyone. There is plenty of respect and the teachers are always there to accomodate you and your child/children. There are no words to describe how great this school is academically and in general. My favorite teacher was Mrs. Aguallo because she didn't make learning boring. She always acted out whatever we were learning about and made it into something fun. There was never a boring time with her. She is the one teacher that made me excel academically.

I love the fact that when I drop off my children early in the morning I do not feel that they will be lost, it is a close community and well balance school. Before I enrolled my children I looked around and checked for pricing, education, and how close they were with each other.

i love this school so much. the teachers are great. I have so many friends and everybody is really nice. It is so sad though when the 8th graders leave because you get so close to them as friends. It makes me cry when they leave because some of them are your best friends.

this is a wonderful school im glad that my parents chose this school for me and i hope to send my children to this school as well. exactly! to the comment about Catholic schools are not state funded, the catholic schools work hard to earn money to keep the schools safe they try their best to earn more money with out the hassle or raising the prices.

This school is excellent! I love, love, love my job. The principal is respectful, encouraging, and caring towards parents, teachers and students! This school provides a good Catholic Education without filtering out academics. The children are allowed to be children but still learn the importance of respect and responsibility. As for the comment about being money driven, Catholic schools are not state funded and rely on outside resources for help to provide the best educational and extracurricular activities for the students. The parent involvement is wonderful. I'm glad I am able to teach in a school that does not deter parent involvement! Parents are allowed to be involved in their child's education. Hooray! I have never been so happy teaching. My daughter will definitely be attending this school next year!

We are new to the private school system. When I considered registering our child, the staff emphasized Jesse James Leija s children attended this school. What a ploy to get parents to sign up. Unfortunately, the decision to send my child to St. Philip of Jesus has been one of regret. Children s importance is based on the amount of contributions given, time spent volunteering, or popularity (I m sure Jesse James did not have to wait days to receive a call from the teacher requesting a conference). Aside from experiencing discriminatory treatment, it seems every month parents have to donate money, contribute items, or sell tickets. This school is money driven! Unless you are an alumni, rich, famous, or have plenty of your time to contribute, prayer will definitely be needed to get you through the school year.

I totally agree with the parents and student about this school. I have three children and my first two have graduated from St. Philip of Jesus and my son is going to be in sixth grade. They have all flourished at this school. It's one big happy family. I myself attended St. Philip of Jesus school and was proud to send my children there. Alot of alumni send their children here because of the family atmosphere and the spirituality. They care about the children and make them feel good about themselves.
