Outstanding school! My children have loved their time at SACHS. The teachers are fantastic and the academics are strong. There are many opportunities for the students to take advantage of like AP courses, college classes at The University of the Incarnate Word, numerous clubs and academic organizations. There is no doubt that the students are well-prepared for college when they graduate.

Two of our children have graduated from SACHS. One is a senior there this year. I could not be more pleased with the experience my children have had here. The academics are solid. Both graduates earned substantial scholarships to the universities of their choice. My senior has been enrolled in dual credit courses with The University of the Incarnate Word since his junior year. There was never a day that the kids didn't want to go to school. They loved it here. Starting each day in chapel means so much. There are no cliques. All the kids get along. The teachers truly love and care for their students. Academically, the teachers are outstanding. It's been a GREAT experience.

This is perhaps the greatest school you could ever send your child to. I am a senior and I wish I could spend more time here. The teachers are very caring and it's evident that they really want you to flourish academically. I love the tradition, spirit and pride that all of the kids have. Everyone gets a long here and it's a terrific high school to send your child to. We have an activity for absolutely everyone and student involvement is highly recommended. The principal this year is perhaps the greatest principal of my time. I love all he does for the school and he is genuinely concerned about the future of the students. The chapel is the best place to meet every morning and the spirituality held in this school is very warm and welcoming. It's a huge family here and I wouldn't trade my experiences here for anything!

The school is what it sets out to be, academically challenging, while it keeps spirituality of a tru efaith community. I transfered my son from a local all boys school years ago and he has loved it ever since, now we have began a new tradition because all of our children will attend St. A.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
