First of all I just want to say I dont know how this school is with older childeren, ages 4 and up, my kids are 3 and 21 m. I will say that the daycare is extremly unorganized and unsafe. They only have one teacher watching all of the toddlers, and sometimes there are 18 toddlers in the room at one time. I wonder if there is even a ciriculum that the teachers follow because the teacher never gives us any work that my childeren do. I have gone there sometimes to pick up my kids in the middle of the day and just see the kids running around with the teachers doing nothing at all. Also the teachers look unmotivated and exhusted ALL THE TIME, even when I drop my kids off in the mourning. I know taking care on kids is a lot of work, but its your job to be loving and caring for the kids. They should not look like they do not want to be there. Last thing, being that I cant mention any names, the lady in the front desk is extremly RUDE and fustrating. I have heard many other parents complain about her and nothing seems to be getting done about her bad attitude.

I was reading through the reviews and saw the horrible reviews of the past. We made an administration change in 2011 and I would encourage anyone considering a private education for their child, especially a Christian education, or a daycare that does not just babysit, but teaches curriculum to consider us. Things are very different and so much better. Thank you!

The teachers are awesome, the curriculum is awesome and theis is the best price you can find for private Christian education.

The curriculum itself is outstanding as well as the pre-k teachers. The administrator/director's practices are appalling. When the teacher gives good reports about your child, (they're the ones who spend time with the child) and the director's reports contradict everything the teacher says. If the child behaves outside of what the principal feels they should, not only are they fast to call the parents to the school, but she is very quick to try to insinuate there is something wrong with your child. A good education is priceless. Unfortunately it is difficult for your child to receive a proper education when the curriculum is outstanding, but the administration staff leaves much to be desired. The two have to be equally as good for this to be accomplished. Our children's education is too important for this.

The teachers & staff keep me informed of my childs progress & behavior. Good teacher-student ratio. Brings me great joy to hear my child recite bible versus & has attended for over 4 years.

I loved Valley Hi! All three of my children attended there. I was not only happy with the academics, but I was also happy with the love and attention my children received. We were a very involved family and the staff was wonderful. I am glad to know there is a forum like this where we can go to and voice any issues or give praises. Every school may have some problems there are never any perfect schools.

My child has been attending this school for over 4 years. I have been pleased with all the love and support he has received from the teachers. The Abeka curriculum and the small student-teacher ratio has contributed to the educational advancement of my child. My child's test scores have excelled in comparison to children of the same age group in state funded facilities. We are extremely blessed to have found such a lovely school with such a low tuition rate and great value. This has been a excellent investment for my family.

My chidlren have been with this school for several years. I have nothing but praise for the teachers that are in the baby and toddler room. The teachers do at times combine children, but this is never for a long period of time. My chidlren were well taken care of, on occassion there may have been a bump or scratch. I am a reasonable parent and understand toddlers will 'toddle' The center is always very careful about keeping in state guidelines. I have worked in a daycare enviorment before and I'm well aware of state mandates. The women that work these rooms are special and show these children, love and tenderness. You can't pay enough tuition for that kind of care. A very statisfied parent....

The 1 yr and 2yr rooms are often mixed w/babies, 1's and 2's. They are always short staff so they combine kids and teachers. The kids run wild and fight. They never go on the playground b/c they are always 'fixing it' They eat in a non airconditioned gym! The afternoon teachers don't care if your child got injured and often can't tell you how the injury occurred. They will say they weren't there at that time or will tell you that your child was like that when you brought them there. The teacher is argumentative and will tell you no other parents ask questions! The 2 assist. dir. are actually kind. But you are always in the wrong -never their teachers!!

quality:good above average curriculum. Teacher quality:this school does not have it together.Along with the director she does not care whether you have issues with any of the staff because she basically will not listen and has stated that if you don't like the school then leave and that she is absolutely not getting rid of any of her staff. This school is wishy washy they never are consistent with activities, such as PE sometimes they have it and most of the time not. Electives are wishy washy also, on and off when they feel like it. Lunches, served cold, are horrible and are not cosistent with the menu. No Music,Art or other programs. Parent involvement, they'll hear you talk but it makes no difference. Grandparents:, grandparents have no say. Several staff members are rude and unkind.I do not recommend this school, if you ever have a complaint or suggestion about the education.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
