Excellent school. We are very pleased. All classes are taught from a Christ-centered perspective. Our son attends 6th grade at OSL and we feel fortunate that we found this opportunity for him to grow in a safe and secure environment that also provides a curriculum designed to inspire and challenge the students. We have seen our son's confidence soar because of the attention of the devoted staff and through the wonderful friendships that he has made.

We are a military family. When our 4 kids were growing up we were stationed in San Antonio 3 times. We always enrolled the kids at OSLS because we knew they would get an excellent education from caring and professional teachers. I love OSLS!!!

My daughter was having problems learning to read and problems with the public school teacher while in the first grade. We decided to enroll her at Our Savior Lutheran and we love it, we love it so much we even enrolled our 7th grader as well. The one on one that not only the students get with the teachers, but the parents develop a great relationship with them as well. My daughter is now finishing the 2nd grade and her reading is strong and she enjoys going to school. Our son really likes the small school setting, he says he is challenged more at OSL than he was in pre-AP classes in public school. They also offer private piano lessons for a small fee.

Did a phenomenal job with our dyslexic granddaughter. Had an Orton-Gillingham tutor available (for a private fee, of course) and adjusted her school schedule so she could get her tutoring at school, four days a week. The teachers love thekids and the administration cares!

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
