I couldn't have found a better place for my boys! I searched many different schools and wasn't familiar with the Montessori Method until I found Country Day School. They placed my twin boys in separate classes and their teachers were a perfect fit. I get great communication from the teachers, head of school and the staff. The school is a renovated old farm house, complete with a goose, goats and gardens outside the playground. I am very impressed with the huge strides my boys have made both cognitively and socially in just one half of the school year. I would recommend this school to my family members and best of friends!!

I have two children attending this school and I couldn't be more thankful. The entire faculty is wonderful. I was not familiar with the Montessori method and took a chance on the school. Well the years keep passing and I keep re-enrolling. My children love the school. Thank you Ms. Betty Williams for founding this school.

My three-and-half-year-old daughter has attended SACDS for one regular school year and the recently concluded summer Spanish program. I have nothing but the utmost respect and admiration for the head of school, the teachers, the support staff, and the program within which their students thrive. My daughter is happy and growing in every way at this school; I look forward to my young son experiencing the same joyful, strong development in the coming years. I consider SACDS our Montessori haven; it's the kind of environment every child should know.

The teachers at this school are very good. Unfortunatly for them the Head of School is very difficult.

This school is amazing! Bravo to the teachers, and staff! My son recently has been attending the summer Montessori program, and he loves it. This is his first experience being away from home and from day one he loves his new school. His teacher Mrs. Joyce is such a nurturing and welcoming person and is preparing him in the Montessori method. The sad thing for us is that we did not find Country Day School first, and we have our son enrolled in another program for the new school year. I wish we could continue with such a great program, but I will recommend the entire school to anyone.

The school is awesome! The only complaints you'll find are either from parents who don't take time to keep up with the school bulletins, keep their children in so many activities that they are overwhelmed, or parents who just aren't willing to be involved in their child's development and went to private school because they wanted someone else to do it for them. I have yet to find another school with such caring teachers that are also able to teach kids to teach themselves.
Being familiar with the montesssori method for 14 years, I've found that SACDS is one of the best montessori schools in San Antionio. They have loving, caring teachers who go out of their way to help your child become the best person they can be. They answer all my questions and concerns and help me to also be the best parent I can be for my son. All the teachers are wonderful and have great knowlegde in the montessori method. If you want your child to be a well functioning, independant, smart child then SACDS is the place for your child and for you.

This school is appears to be good but hides behind strict contracts and inflexibility for the parents. At best, the head director is unprofessional and this school has kicked out students. My son was 'uninvited' because I asked too many questions...that is my duty as a parent. If a school is not accommodating to the parents questions...they probably have something to hide. Buyers Beware of the Country Day Montessori School on Jung Rd.

Awesome school ,my son thrives in the school, he is socially developed, self confident and mature for his age. He is very responsible at this age. I recommend this school to anyone who is willing to understand the system and be a partner in their childs education.

I second the review stating this is a great school for younger education. My children both started here at 2 and still have fond memories of the whole experience (at 13 & 15!). This is certainly not a 'cram school' but both of my boys were 'well ahead of the pack' when they moved on to another Montessori school. There was truly respect for the individual child as well as well-communicated rules for responsible behavior and 'academic' achievement. The lessons they learned in conflict resolution and assertiveness will last them a lifetime. The homey atmosphere is comforting for the very young child's first school experience. The staff and management is also very approachable by parents (expecially so in retrospect after being at other schools)!
