As a retired teacher, I want to thank the teachers and administration for taking the time and patience for working with my grandson in a positive manner, He hated school until last year when he was enrolled at Rhodes....We are very thankful that he is finally learning critical thinking skills and life beyond the state testing.

I totally agree with all the great reviews about Rhodes elementary school. My son attended kindergarten last year and we were happy with his progress and the dedication of the teachers ,staff and the principal. The PTA involvement is awesome and I would definitely recommend this school.

This is one of the best schools in San Antonio under the NISD cap and the Principal, Vice Principal and teachers are exceptionally good! My son joined1st grade and Mrs.Rodriguez was his class teacher. She was an amazing teacher who exceeded our expectations and did a wonderful job in helping our son successfully complete his first school year with good credits. I would positively recommend Rhodes to anybody moving into that area.

After changing schools and moving cities to find the perfect school, we found Rhodes - THE best kept secret in SA. Wonderful Principal and Vice Principal who are VERY involved with the teachers and are willing to address any and all concerns parents may have about their child's teacher , progress, behavior etc. The children are clearly their top priority and they spend everyday making sure no one "falls through the cracks".

This school is wonderful. My son attended 5th grade this past year. The teachers, prinicipals and staff are GREAT! The special event activities were outstanding! I would definitely recommend this school.

My son attended Kindergarten at Rhodes during the 2005-2006 school year. Lauren Bybee was his teacher and she exceeded the expectations that my husband and I had for our sons first school experience. I would definitely recommend this school and this teacher to those relocating to the san antonio area.

I have been impressed with the consideration of teachers, staff and office personnel. I have heard from substitutes that this is one of their favorite to come to to teach. Other parents seem to be very involved with their children;s education.

This school is one of the best in San Antonio! The teachers are very caring and supportive. The principal is always available for parental concerns. The parent involvement is outstanding, with a very active PTA. There is a choir club, storytelling club, and tutoring available if needed. I always feel welcome when I enter the school doors!

This school was a wonderful school. My two sons really enjoyed attending each day. The teachers are very creative and very collaborative with one another and it shows in the student's work. The halls are always so colorful and decorative. The office staff are more than friendly and they are always available to help. My boys and I both miss this school greatly.

Oh the things I can say about Frances M Rhodes Elementary! This is an absoultely wonderful school! It's home to super teachers, a great administration dept, and brilliant students. The parent involvement at this school is overwhelming if you will, which helps make this school so special. I can't help but smile and get a happy feeling every time I walk down the halls because it is just an overall beautiful school.
