I love Jubilee Academy! The school is great and a safe , drug free , gang free environment. I would never send my kids to public school after experiencing the Jubilee Way......family, leadership, and caring, and loving organization. Thank you Jubilee for all your dedication to my children.

Jubilee Academy is a great school, the staff, teachers and parents have one goal and that is to make our children successfull for life. Everyone feels like a part of a big, caring family. When we have our Pre-k students know the names of our high school students by name means that we are close and we all about family values. This school special and as a parent I am greatful for all they do. GO LIONS !!

I have two children at this school. They both love their teachers. I feel they are competent and well trained. The staff on the other hand (cafeteria worker, coaches, etc) is somewhat unprofessional, but the classroom teachers do an excellent job.

I have two sons that graduated from Jubilee Academic and my daughter is currently enrolled in their 8th grade. My oldest son is attending community college and my youngest son is at UT Austin. My daughter is earning high school credits and should graduate with over 24 college credit hours. Awesome! Awsome school.

My daughter is in Pre-K, and I am delighted at the level of academic exposure she has experienced so far. Mrs. Lansford and Mrs Juarez are excellent teachers, and my daughter and by extension the school are fortunate to have them. I echo the other reviews by stating that this school feels like a family. Administration, teachers, and staff all care about the kids.

JAC is a great school. My daughter has attended since PK. I have been very satisfied with the teachers she has had so far. A few things that concern me though are the lack of electives for the Middle and High schoolers and their lack of a G/T program. I know that alot of childen would benefit from a program like that.

Jubilee is a great school, I tried several other charter school's before coming to Jubilee. My daughter is very happy here. She is doing so well in all her classes. She is a very shy person, but she has opened up alot since she came to this school. The teachers and staff are great. In my opinion Jubilee is a family oriented school with high values and principals. Thank you, Jubilee for a job well done.

I would like to give a few words about Jubilee, and how my 2 girls have improve alot in their studies. The teachers here are very good, and loveing, and understanding to each student. The staff is great, and also the students are great. This is not just a school, but a big family. My girls have learned alot here, and they are looking foward of starting school again this year. I would not trade another school for my girls!

About the tests

In 2010-2011, the Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills (TAKS) was used to test students in reading in grades 3 through 9; in writing in grades 4 and 7; in English language arts in grades 10 and 11; in mathematics in grades 3 through 11; in science in grades 5, 8, 10 and 11; and in social studies in grades 8, 10 and 11. TAKS is a standards-based test, which means it measures how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Texas. The grade 11 Exit Level TAKS is a high school graduation requirement. The goal is for all students to score at or above the state standard.

The different student groups are identified by the Texas Education Agency; if there are a small number of students in a particular group, the state doesn't report data for that group.
