This school environment lacks diversity within the staff and student body. Best advice, for quality education find another school
I have an 8th grader at this school who has ADHD. I started the school year meeting with all the teachers to outline plans to keep my child on task and formulate a revise a 504 plan. Some teachers were better than others as far as dealing with an LD child. Some seemed ill-informed about ADHD and how to deal with the various problems these children face. The school is beautiful since it is brand new. They have many extracurricular activities. Teachers in general were willing to meet with parents as needed, kept up weekly e-mail correspondence on child's progress and met with him before school to provide tutorial assistance. Counselors helpful in resolving problems and responsive in a timely manner to e-mail communication.
