Despite what the others review tell you THIS IS SCHOOL is great!!! Most people think it is for students that have problems in other schools, that is not true. This school has been designed to teach students how to survive and maike it in college where there is not a teacher to look over their shoulder all the time. If your child falls behind its because it is your child not the teacher. The teacher's here are like professors in college. They are there to assist but will not be like a parent to your student. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK SOUTHWEST

I went to this school in 07-08 school year. The school is ok but you can get behind very fast and the teachers really dont care that much.

I think that the school is great for students who need to go at their own pace to learn thngs. It is a wonderful establishment fot kids who just can't seem to do well in public schools.

I think this type of school is great for students. It's a self pace school and lets the kids learn at thier own pace and not get confused with having to move so fast.

This school has given my son back his desire to excel. The teachers are caring and supportive. Learning is self paced so it skips the normal day to day routine that goes on in mainstream schools. My son focus' on school for a straight 4 hours and hes done. Its a win win situation. My son is not in trouble, nor is he a trouble maker. The perception of these types of schools are wrong. This is the best parental move I could have ever made.

Poor communications among administration/parents...teachers dedicated and willing to meet with parents. However, some teachers are in serious need of professional development. No standardization of forms when monitoring students. School administration [principal, so-called guidance homeroom teacher] extremely poor. I would seriously consider another campus of South Prep.
