Read-Turrentine is a 2nd and 3rd grade campus and it is a wonderful school. Parents are very involved in the student's reading activities. I participated in a 'Read Along' where the parents were welcome to bring a blanket and read outside with their child. We came to a book fair, where the parent came on campus and brought their child to the book fair to purchase books with their child. I went to a Friday Night Football Game, where all the parents, teachers, and students came together to watch a Dallas Cowboy game. The parents, students, and the teachers all won prizes with their tickets. As a parent I always feel welcomed!
