Slaton high school is a great place to go to school and to work in the system. I have a great deal of respect of the principal and her staff. They work very hard and keep the student first in their effort to educate. I can see only good things for the future of Slaton High. A friend

Overall the school doesnt offer many academic choices. Student council doesnt do anything for the student body. There are hardly any groups or clubs to be interested in or join. We get promises of receiving better food in the cafeteria, but it has not got any better. Most of the teachers dont show any guidance for the students and there is some descrimination.

There is a general lethargy among the students and faculty. The academic choices are nil and the sports programs are a joke. Much like the town itself, the school just doesn't care very much.
