My daughter transferred into this school from a great school in MN. From day one I was impressed with how the teachers took time to get to know her and how quickly they pull us into talk about their concern that she might have dyslexia. They did a thorough assessment and immediately pulled her into a special program. Her progress was remarkable. While she still doesn't read for pleasure she isn't as frustrated and her grades have dramatically improved.

Eubanks is a phenomenal school with a great administration and outstanding teaching team. Fifth grade is particularly strong, and the highlight of my student's experience in CISD. The campus is friendly and welcoming, and the students are well supported here. The staff are extremely accessible, and make themselves available morning and after school to work with students. The students have tremendous opportunities for enrichment, including multiple clubs and extra-curricular experiences. I had heard many negative comments before having a student at Eubanks, but none of it has been true for our experience. I can't say enough good things about this school and would highly recommend it!

I have had two children go through this school. This is definitely the worst school in the district. This school needs a new principal and vice principal. Mr Terry is never around and Mrs McKeel is mean and vindictive. Half the teachers are great and caring and the other half need to find another profession. I wish the district would take a long hard look at this school and reorganize.

Eubanks is the worst school my kids have ever attended. The principal is incompetant and absolutely horrid! Because of deliberate negligence and emotional harrassment by a 6th grade math teacher, my child's self esteem was extremely low until we transfered to another school. Avoid this school at all costs!

this school has great teachers. they teach the students well and really care and love their students. The Carrol school district is one of the best in the nation. There is nothing wrong with this school. My child loves it at Eubanks.

Eubanks has great and not so great points. First the great things: the teachers are excellent and are available before and after school for additional help. The musical opportunities are phenomenal. The advancement these kids make in 9 months brings tears to your eyes at the spring concert. The areas I think there could be improvement: The principal needs to be on campus more and accessible to parents. In our experience he was either away or his schedule didn't allow us to meet unless we scheduled it a week out. Bullying (physical punching) is a problem and the consequences for such behavior are mild. One concern about 6th Grade Adv. Math: The class is taught in a loud and intense manner. Even if your child is a whiz at Math, if they can't handle someone who is very intense (but well intentioned) it would be best to stay in Reg. Math.

Absolutely horrid school. Never send your child to Eubanks. The administration is full of idiots and the teachers are burned out!!! my honor student hated this school and experienced low self-esteem because of the principal and teachers. Most parent we know think the same way.

There are many strong teachers using creative hands-on instruction - like the annual reenactment of the Battle of Gettysburg using ketchup bottles. The speech and CM staff here are outstanding. They really go the extra mile to help their kids!

Excellent school overall and produces children ready for intermediate and high school. Has rather strict rules for behavior. The school works very well with well-adjusted children, struggles somewhat with special needs children. If your child doesn't have any problems, it's a great school.

Beautiful school. Some teachers exceptional, some not so hot and leave. Two-year concept is challenging for kids.

Math program is a problem. The student either gets in accelerated math or is in regular (basic) math. Needs a middle math program. Weak LA program. Some teachers are terribly boring in their delivery. Need much more differentiation. We can't all go 100 mph. Beautiful facility. School district attitude is that 'we are simply the best and know everything'. Not impressed.

Great administration and teachers. So glad the school board decided to keep the K-4 and 5-6 grade format. Eubanks raises the bar with higher expectations for kids at these grades, but not in a sink or swim manner.
