Excellent school! My 3 boys have attended Anderson my oldest was promoted to middle school, my 2 youngest are still there, I can honestly say the principal Mr Schmidt is an awesome principal! he is very attentive with the students and has excellent communication with all parents. My sons teachers are great! They truly go above and beyond for all their students. My oldest enjoys dropping off his brothers in the morning to say good morning to Mr Schmidt and Staff. They also have excellent crossing guards. Mrs. Castillo

Anderson has been a wonderful school for my children. They have both excelled in their classrooms and I have always been able to communicate openly with all their teachers. This is my sons last year and he has attended since kindergarten. Unfortunately I can't say the same for the middle and high school.

Anderson is a exceptional school. I fostered 2 children who attended this school for 2 1/2 years. One child in first grade and one in second grade, both had unacceptable reading and math scores/under grade level. I must say that the teachers and staff at Anderson went above and beyond to help these children. They stayed in consant contact with me via email, phone or in person. They offered tutoring during school hours, after school and a reading program for each of them. By the end of their first year at this school they were both reading above grade level and on honor roll the rest of the time the spent here. Anderson is Awesome!

This is my sons first year at Anderson and he couldn't be happier! I love the principal and music teacher! They are so involved with the kids and do so many fun things for them and the parents. Just this year my son has been in two programs, participated in a Halloween festival and felt much happier about school. He is actually excited about it every day! They are doing a great job. My only complaint is about one teacher that I feel doesn't understand that she teaches small children. I feel she marks them a little too harshly and doesn't listen to the children as much. Overall it's a great school!

My daughter was behind in reading when she started Anderson Elementary. Right away she was put in a special reading program-by the end of the school year my daughter was reading at a level ahead of her age group!

Excellent special education department. Extremely focused on the children. Teachers give 200% everyday. My second child attends Anderson in the Pre-K level. Have a 12 yr. old who also attended Anderson from Grades K-5 in the Tier program.

My daughter has been at Anderson since Kindergarten and will be going onto Middle school soon. I must share with you the personal attention you recieve from all the teachers and staff, you and your children are never 'a number'. I hope other schools in this ISD could follow Anderson Elementary example.

I am a subsitute teacher and of all elementary schools, i feel anderson is the best. There is organization, teachers are very helpful and enjoy teaching the children.

This is my son first year going to this school, and I'm realy happy cause my child is learning alot and the principal and teachers, staff are very profesional, and the safety in the school is excellent compare to other schools that my childrens have gone.
