This school needs to focus on more after school activites other than just sports, hopefully with more of a variety this will put more interest in the kids minds.
Very low student to teacher ratio, smaller classes seem to help each student individually. Very low drop out rate compared to state average. Tradition of excellence in UIL Athletic, Band and Academic competitions.
I love the website Skyward Family Access that allows me as the parent to log on and see my Childs grades, tardiness, and daily assignments. When I have had to call into the school to discuss my Childs grades or future classes the staff has been so helpful and has provided me with more than enough information. The principle knows his students and takes the time to call me at home or at work to go over any issues that have occurred at school or any concerns I may have concerning my child or other students. The teachers are wonderful. My child has nothing but great things to say about each and every one of his teachers and they are always updating me on the status of my Childs grades and conduct.
Great kids, great staff, great school. Tradition of excellence in UIL Athletic, Band and Academic competitions. One would be hard-pressed to find a better place to raise their children.
I was overall pleased with my school. I went to springtown from k-12. However, this school is more into sports the academics. Class of 2002
Springtown High School needs more parent involvement and lacks the capability to discipline with positive results.
I believe that Springtown schools are some of the greatest schools in Texas. The teachers really care about the students and really help them when they need it. The extracurricular activities are also great. They help the kids develop who they are and help them to branch out from their little group of friends and meet new people and have fun doing what they love. I love the Springtown School District and everything that it has to offer.
Springtown school is very bad, they are very unorganized, and then need more room in the school, not another football field!
I think that Springtown School district is very bad for childern. For example if your child gets made fun of and defens his/her-self... Then gets sent to Bic which is a behavor improvement class...You can exspect him/her to start making bad grades if your child is a student that keeps his/her grades up to 70 or above. The reason for that is because and the principals don't know how to displine childern. So I would reamend not putting your child in Springtown schools. I would go to Birdville schools, because I had my child in Springtown from second grade to eighth grade now he is in ninth and out of Springtown and doing much better...Make a wise choice don't go to Springtown schools.
Springtown High School is a joke. The principal wastes school funds (which is already scarce) on pointless items. He took out snack machines to try to combat obesity and then made one line in the cafeteria that sold pizza and french fries every day. The teachers, in general, belittle their students capabilities and lower self-esteem at every turn. School funds are taken from programs that actually win things like the band and give them over to the athletics program to buy everyone new things every year when they don't need the new items. I personally don't reccomend Springtown High School for anyone, ever.
