My grandson has been in this school for two years and going into the high school for the 2011-2012 school year. He has excelled in this school with football, band and weight lifting. He is in all honor classes and loves being in this school disctrict. The teachers are very supportive.

This is an excellent school with great teachers. My son had the support he needed from his teachers this year and was able to go the whole year with straight A's on his report card as well as receiving Commended on all his TAKS tests. This is because of his hard work of course but also because his teachers took the time to help him excell.

My Grandson attends Spingtown Middle School and I think they do a wonderful job in helping the children when they are struggling.

We moved to this school district from Northwest ISD and I couldn't be happier. My children have soared since leaving NISD. I expected my children to be behind when we moved here being that SISD is such a small district but to my suprise they were behind. The teachers recognized this within the first week and put my daughter in tutoring immediately. She is in tutoring 4 days a week and the teachers here seem to care about ALL of the children, not just the kids whose parents volunteer everyday. There is diversity at this school and we couldn't have made a better decision moving here. Thank you SISD for taking the time to actually teach my children, they never received this from NISD.
