Got out of Spurger school In 32 years ago and have graduated 4 children from Spurger. Spurger schools are in my opinion the best.As time goes by it seems as more and more out of town folks come to Spurger with city ideas, and it seem to sometimes take a toll on the system. There are really good Teachers and Administrators in this school system. I am proud to have had my children go to school here, and now have 3 grandchildren attending. I would recomend this school to anyone that truly cares for their children and is willing to work with the system. You can be all YOU WANT to be in this school. opportunity is HERE for the asking.
I graduated 30yrs. ago, my daughter graduated 5yrs. ago and I have a daughter in high school. We have moved here so our children could attend school here. The staff is great, small classes, great community support. Children receive a great education here, if they want it. Many past students are now very successful because they had a strong educational background. It is an oppurtunity to attend SISD. Remember 'It takes a village to raise a child'? Spurger is the village. Spurger is a great place to raise your children. Spurger ISD is a fantastic school. No school or community is perfect, but they can be as great as we make them.
