Mrs Villarreal one of the pre K teachers, is the Best of the Best teachers there could ever be. I had her as a kid my nieces and nephews had her, and now one of my daughter has her, she still remain sweet and smart as always...
My child has been going to this school since pre-k teacher are very good, I am a active mom when it comes to my child. But I do have a problem the school always asking for money for some sort of fundraiser. They won't let you bring in food to eat lunch with your child and you can't even eat lunch with your child anymore only if it is their birthday. This school even wants to charge every parent ten dollars to join the PTO.
I have had more negative experiences with the staff than positive ones. They can be rude and down right cantankerous at times. There are misspelled words and comma splices in the communication that is sent out via email.
I love the principal and assistant principal they are very caring and willing to get involved in the childrens and parents lives. I have a problem with the fact aht when a parent wants some help with their childs learning disabilities it takes forever for them to get help. Other than that I have had no problems with the teachers or other staff.
Stafford Primary is very clean and the staff is very nice. I was disappointed with the Gifted and Talented program. It didn't challenge my child (lots of coloring) and the teacher wasn't repsonsive to my child's needs.
I have a 6yr old soon in kindergarten and his teacher is very good, I am a active mom when it comes to my son. However I do have a problem with SOPT, they are always begging for money for some fundraiser for something non-educational. Stafford is a great school so far, but I guess their is always room for improvement on some things.
Everyone is nice but the education level is below other schools and their security is bad.
The school seems to have good teachers. The school has a mixed population of minorities and majorities with students who rank average on state tests.
Stafford is a great school. It's clean for one thing. Sometimes communication isn't all that great but I understand that nothing is perfect. I can say that the staff is very well equiped to teach all the children. Example my son is in the first grade. At the beginning of the year he had a little trouble reading. The teacher immediately acknowledged his trouble and we set him up for some tutoring. Had this gone by without attention this could have been a problem later. The same thing happened to my daughter but with math. She is in the 5th grade at Stafford. The great thing I like is that all the grade levels are on the same campus. I would recommend Stafford to anyone looking for a public school with private school traits.
