The school is good. The multiple dual credit courses offer a jumpstart into the future, and the high school math teacher is an awesome guy!

Huckabay is the place to be if you like a small school atmosphere and a place where your kid is safe. The teachers are great and love to teach. Opportunity is right around the corner for this little small town school. Huckabay is always and for most a wonderful school to go to.

The current adminstration is unapproachable and bullish. Big push is TAKS. The availability of music and art is now non-existant. Basketball is everything. Large teacher turn over in the past three years. Small school atmosphere is a plus. Previous curriculum was demanding. Opportunity for distance learning and dual credit, but it is now being restricted.
