I have been an Honior Roll School parent for 2 years now, and could not imagine my children attending a better school in the Sugar Land area. They have a well rounded and complete education that challenges them academically as well as in extra curricular activities. I am confident that my children will leave the Honor Roll School well prepared for the high school

My review is of the THRS elementary school: Teachers - excellent, in my experience so far. They keep the kids challenged and on their toes (growing and reaching at all times!) while being flexible and nurturing. No public-school style harsh "one rule fits all/zero-tolerance" discipline here. Principal/school leadership - The elementary school principal is truly involved and interested. Fair. Friendly. That trickles down - its a "warm" school with very high standards. Students: Very competitive but very supportive of each other. Be prepared to work hard. And have fun. Academic standard - excellent. One measure is that the THRS academic standard is indeed one grade-level higher than public schools (admittedly not a high bar at elementary level). Art/PE/Music - Art: Interesting art work with different material. Students encouraged to explore colors. PE: great coaches who device age-appropriate activities to keep the kids interested in fitness and sports. Music: showcased by two or three very good concerts a year. Could be better: Kids should get more exposure to the outside-world through participation in science fairs, robotics fairs, various inter-school competitions.

Both of our children go to The Honoe Roll School and have been there for over 4 years. The curriculum is incredible. The teachers are great and the Principals are SUPER. Emily Castaneda is the most interactive and involved Principal we have ever seen. Kudos to The Honoe Roll School for introducing Mrs Castaneda to their already excellent team.

It is a good school! My daughter was there since she was 2 years old. She learn a lot in Kindergarten. It was a big different from TK to K. The curriculum is quite deep in certain area for her age but it depends on the kid is ready yet. Well! I think she did good at her age! She is happy too!

Very disappointed. This school has a lot of potential that is not being realized becasue of a self absorbed administration. There is no interest in pursuing academic excellence and no interest in listening to parental concerns.
