Went to a great event at the school Rodeo Round-Up, SWE had a great turnout. The school does not only do a great job teaching they do a great job caring for the children. The parent and teacher involvement was wonderful everyone helped out at this event. The over all support from parents and teachers working together was priceless. I'm proud that my children attend this school.

All the staff members and teachers at this school really care about the students and it shows. Communication from teachers is above average. However, there is an extreme amount of pressure on the students in regards to testing. This school is very strict about teaching to the test, which can leave young children in the lower grades feeling frustrated and leave them exhausted due to the amount of extra time needed at home to work on reading and math. Kindergarten eats lunch at 10:15 which is way too early for 5 year olds. This too early lunch time can really affect a young child's attention during the rest of the day. School involvement by parents is average. The nurse and counselor are wonderful.

I won't say from the top down, but from side to side at SWE, because everyone who works in the building shares the same goal; to make the campus and it's students the highest priority. They are all equally diligent in their desire to make each student get the best education and preparation for life. A+++++

SWE is a wonderful school and great place to work. You will not find staff members that care more about your children.

SWE is a pretty good school with a decent arts and sports program. And there is great parental involvement. The problem is the lack of PE and recess. The 5 year olds are eating at 10:15 with a short recess after and then no unstructured time for the rest of the day. This is very difficult for a child with no attention issues, but impossible for a child who has ADD who is then labeled a 'problem.' I was told the reason there is PE only every three days is due to funding. With the problems our society is having with obesity, I think we need to make this more of a priority.

We have been extremely pleased with this school. The teachers are wonderful, caring individuals. The academic program is great...very challenging.
