We've had two children attend Campbell, both having previously attended private school. First, the people are what make this school great. The teachers are very caring and accessible and encourage a lot of parental involvement. They are equipped to handle kids with special needs in a way the private schools simply can't. Everyone, from the counselor to the nurse to the principal, are top-knotch and very giving of their time. Anyone who feels detached from these personable professionals is simply not making the effort to get involved.

My twins went to Campbell and loved it. We couldn't say enough at how awesome the teachers are. They care, they do extra things to make sure the kids get the lessons learned. My kids go back to see those teachers, because they made an impact in my twins lives. The principle is excellent and has great kid skills of communication. I am gald we moved to Greatwood.

Don't kid yourself, if you're into teachers losing your child, knives being brought to school but the child who brings it in is not punished because the teacher and parent are buddies...then this is the school for you! Principal is a complete snob, assistant principal is out of touch with anything not involving marathons and the teachers are just plain old mean. This school is all about who knows who and who is in the "Greatwood in crowd". I pulled mine out and they now attend private school. Not worth the trouble!!

My daughter is in kindergarten, so she hasn't been at Campbell long, but we've had an excellent experience so far. Her teacher is wonderful, and I haven't heard any complaints about other teachers. Field Day was a downer compared to what it was when I was in school...no competition = no fun for the kids. I also agree with another reviewer about the size of the school. Some of us need to be shifted over to Dickinson to alleviate crowding at Campbell. But my daughter is really enjoying her first year, and she's learned SO much in these first few months.

Hate it. We are from CA and it is large, impersonal and not at all what I want for my kids

We moved here - and changed our daughter's school - beginning in 3rd grade. I'm so glad we did. There are great opportunities for kids to get involved in higher level thinking, music programs, and more. Teachers are held to a high standard. Awesome parent involvement.

This is a very great school! Excellent teachers! What more can we ask for? My son was very well challenged in this school. It is very sad that we have to move out of state.

Although new to this school it seems to have a great amount of good teachers. However the principal is 'all business' What it really needs is a lower enrollment--its extremely overcrowded for an elementary!
