Well i go to this school and i think it's really great! Great teachers who have fun talkign to you, an orchestra teacher who always finds out whats wrong with students and conforts them (like a 2nd mom) a choir teacher who has alot of love and care for teh students and even for omseone like me! The princiable is really friendly yet strict in a very good manner and the teachers teach us about life and how to survive! I do agree it's really compitive and i think it is great because it pushes you to exeed in your own way, teachs you how sueccede in life and in highschool! I ade alot of awesome friends THERE IS NO BULLING OR HATRED TO SUCH EXTENT THERE IS VIOLENCE! NO VIOLENCE AT ALL! And even if you see people hitting each other, it's playfull remarks of the football people and the preps. Everybody is smart (even the blonds) and friendly and they don't mind sociolizing! You just have to be the first one who wants to reach out to people, not let them reach out to you because if you odn't reach out frist, people will ignore you. And because i know how to make friends like this, i know everybody (even the staff who are very friendly and awesome) by heart! I LOVE THIS SCHOOL SO MUCH!!!

I Dont like this school at all. Im going there, And I hate it. The teachers are boring and all they care about is learning learning learning. You would say learning learning learning is a good thing, but its not. There is no fun at all. I havent even smiled once in that school, And Im a person that smiles alot and was nick named smiley at my other school. If you only only care about education, this is the school for you. But if you care about having fun AND education, I suggest you go to another school. My first day there, and I sat alone, Even for the rest of the school year I was there, (3-4 months.) This school pushes you too much. and they are all about winning in competitions, not trying youre best and supporting each other.

Fort settlement Middle school is an excellent school. The Administration and Teachers are awesome and highly qualified. More importantly they believe that all of thier students will succeed in their education and they go the extra mile to ensure that they do.

If you are interested in learning what you need to know to get commended on the TAKS test and nothing more, then this is the school for you. If you want a real education you need to find another school.

Fort Settlement is a great school. I'm finishing 8th grade with a great education, great grades, and three years of great teachers. Lots of the parents volunteer and help out. FSMS has a great art teacher and a terrific art experience 7th graders have a fun pottery unit if they choose art as an elective.

I went to Fort Settlement for a semester, and then moved to a private school. In academics this school was strong, teachers really helped students to understand things, but it was hard to get talked to unless you were extremely popular. On my first day of school I sat by myself no one invited me to sit with them. I guess if you are athletic or outgoing than you will love this school, but otherwise you are better off going to a school with greater diversity.

Very impressed. Great effort made to accommodate all my child's academic choices - including organizing time at the local high school to study a language no longer offered at FSMS. Great staff, great environment.
