Sunnyvale High School has been exceptional in all aspects. From one of my children who has needed accommodations to another who has no problems with Honors level curriculum, the school has provided excellent instruction and has proved to be challenging for both children. Having seen the schools at the elementary, middle, and high school levels, I strongly recommend the schools and consider them excellent for preparing students for post high school education and life.

The teaching of this school is not so well. Students do not learn to independently think and work but instead, rely a lot on teachers for answers. They are used to study in a manner that works well for tests, but not so well for their own understanding. Classes are not very engaging. Students often find themselves feel lazy to work for the teaching materials are taught with lack of dedication and engaging techniques. This school worries me, as a student currently attending Sunnyvale High School, for I feel I cannot maximize my education and abilities.

This high school is state of the art, in a new facility, and has high student standards. The teachers and administrators put student success first.
