IF YOU CAN HELP IT, DO NOT USE THIS SCHOOL! My son has been in Taylor schools since kindergarten. Up until he transferred to TH Johnson I was pleased with the school system. He has autism and ADHD. The teachers couldn't care less. Both the teacher and the administrator walked out of his annual meeting while we were trying to discuss plans for his academia because they had more important things to do. I have had the bare minimum of communication between teachers and parents. The lack of responsibility in the staff and teachers actually caused me to change his medication so that the nurse would not have to administer it to him. He only received his meds half of the time during half of the first semester. When I asked them about it, they said it was because he just couldn't remember to come in at his medication time. My son is constantly complaining of the noise level in the classroom, and they have no accommodations to put him in a quieter place. I think until this year my son has been blessed with phenomenal staff and teachers. I am considering putting him into the local private school for the protection of his continued education. His grades dropped from A's to C's.

We recently moved to Taylor in the fall and I am very pleased with the teaching staff and administrators I have met. My child is dyslexic and I had no problems getting him the services he needed. The communications between the teachers and parents is very good. I am impressed with the education standards which they hold so high. TH Johnson is a very good school.
