We were initially uneasy with the small size of the school but grew to appreciate the class size, teachers and administration quickly. The sense of community varies a little per grade but overall a good environment and exemplary example for our kids. There is a sense of family and unity that empowers our children with the values we strive to instill in our children. We recommend the school to anyone interested in educating their kids in a strong Christian and educationally focused environment!

The mission of St. Mary's Catholic School is to educate and empower students through gospel values and Catholic traditions and through the development of their spiritual, intellectual, physical, and social lives. St. Mary's Catholic School believes parents are the primary educators of their children and that every child is blessed by God. The school supports the efforts of parents by providing the spiritual and educational resources to assist in preparing students to meet the challenges of a growing and changing world. SMCS is a place we now associate with home. This is a school that encourages not only the students but teachers and staff to grow together as well. Each year is a new year to grow. We expect the same from the children as we do ourselves; development, growth and an intense desire to spread Christian values. The teachers educating here are present because of desire and passion, not because they have to be!-)

High level of parent involvement. Wide range of subjects for all grade levels. Not suitable for children with learning or developmental disablities. Not able to provide extra help or tutoring on campus. Kingdergarten class ratio 20 students to 1 teacher w/teachers aide.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
