I am in the education profession and a parent. I have had my two children in Teague schools off and on ( 4 different occasions & 4 different campuses in Teague) since Kindergarten. Absolutely every time they've been in Teague, one or both have experienced bullying issues. In two separate cases, adults in the school were even involved. Teague schools used to be top notch. That isn't true any more. My daughter left school and got a GED because bullying was so bad. Neither of my kids ever had problems of any kind in any of the other schools they attended, only at Teague. They were well liked, well behaved, athletically inclined, and had good grades...so it hasn't been that they were problem children. It's been so frustrating fighting administration to get anything done about the bullying. The students are allowed to be disrespectful to teachers, and some of the teachers my daughter had didn't teach much.
