St. Mary's is fenced in. Academics are great! Kids seem to be well above those from other schools in terms of knowledge & behavior. Extra-curricular activities are sufficient for a small private school. Discipline is present, resulting in better behaved students. My kids will be there through 8th grade!

I went to St.Mary's in the 2nd grade all the way to the 8th. Then my parents sent me to Temple High school. Not to gloat or anything, but was maybe the best one in my classes. They have just had a new security system installed. There band program is Outstanding from what I have experianced. There art program could use some tidying up, and there sports are Exellent. The parent involvment is mediocre. Plus the new principal is one that alot of kids respect.

I sent my children there for a year. There was not a music program for the elementary school. My youngest did not have a PE teacher either. TSt. Mary's is not fenced in and is in the middle of the most dangerous area in Temple. Some teachers are yellers and have trouble controlling themselves. The principal wishes for problems to just go away.
