Our family has been a part of St. James Day School for 10 years. Our oldest son graduated from St. James, and our two younger sons will be graduating over the next 3 years. St. James has been an incredible school for our boys, offering a strong educational foundation in a beautiful setting where Christian values and the confidence to fulfill any goal are deeply instilled in the students. St. James students consistently rise to the top in every aspect of life as they move beyond their years at St. James. The St. James experience is beyond compare.
If you are looking for a school in Teaxarkana you can't go wrong because not only will you find a great education that is Christian based, you will also find a loving family of students, staff and other parents.
St. James Day School is, without question ,a school where a child is nurtured, loved, provided an atmosphere where exposer to learning is evident campus wide. Hands-on learning, exposier to Christian principles, art, music, foriegn language, and the comfort of being loved and nurtured by their teachers is the basis of St. James Day School's success. Small classes and parental involvement are valuable reasons for offering the gift of an education at St. James Day School. This opportunity is the greatest gift a parent or grandparent can give their children or grandchildren. St. James offers a strong, positive, developmentally appropriate springboard of educational growth as the children move forward to higher education.
St. James Day School is a blessing to our community. My two children have attended over the past 5 years and we could not of picked a better place for them to be.
Even in these challenging economic times, what better investment is there than your child's education? St. James Day School is the perfect place to plant long term educational investments. From the small class sizes to the well rounded platform of learning, there is no better school in Texarkana in which to place your child. From K4 on, this is the place.
I knew that St. James was different the moment I walked into Mrs. Bell's classroom to observe some twenty years ago. The atmosphere is still there: 'Family' is the closest I can come to describing what that campus offers. Maybe you don't see it if you don't go onto other campuses and into other school facilities. Go visit a random sampling and then step into the St. James environment. You can't miss it!
Has always been the best elementary education in Texarkana - for 0ver 60 years. It's graduates become the valedictorians and honor students in every area high school - every year. St. James does something right.
My child has attended St. James since K3. I was very apprehensive about putting her in a private school as both myself and my husband attended public school. Private school had that certain stigma that I was fearful of. After one day at St. James, I was sure we were where we where and are supposed to be. I have never experienced more loving, helpful, wonderful teachers. Every year has been a great experience (currently in 1st grade). The transition to our new Head Mistress has been stress free, at least for us. Dee Miller is great and always willing to listen and respond. We look forward to our future with St. James. Compare tuition to other private pre-schools and you will find them comparable.
St. James Day School is a great educational environment for any child. Where else can you get such a well rounded and hands on experiene in Education? St, James offers each student the opportunity to grow at their own rate and has so many programs that one or more will really reach your child. Children are provided with small cIasses where there is pleanty of one on one education and ability to allow for many learning styles. Parents are welcome and can add to the environment in so many ways. I am thrilled with the many things that my daughter is learning, including Spanish 3 days per week, Art where they apply therory and have the advantage of an accomplished artist as a teacher. In nusic they learn to read music and play instrumnets. Computers are an intregral part of the education experience.
St. James is the best school in the four states area hands down! The intimate setting and loving environment are the icing on the cupcake of challenging academic standards. St. James is a school for parents who truly understand what a quality education is. It is for those who know how important it is to foster a love for learning and not just how to pass a test. Students who recieve their education at St. James go on to be the best and the brightest not only in our community but anywhere they go! Some decisions in life are the right ones and some are the wrong ones. Making the decision to send your children to St. James is definitely a right one.
