I recently graduated from options. I had plenty of trouble in regular school to where i decided to start cutting class. After returning to the class after many of missed class periods. The teacher said to me there is nothing you can do to pass my class and nothing i can do to help you. So what do you plan on doing? I told her my mother was taken me to enroll in options where my brother had graduaded from. At options I recieved the one on one help i needed and got got caught up on all my classes. I ended up graduating one year early at the age of 17 and I now attend college something I never dreamed of doing.... Options is a great school for anyone who needs a second chance or more opportunites and encouragement!!!! Proud to be an Options graduate....
I have one child who graduated recently from Options and one still attending. My children had a lot of problems in a traditional classroom atmosphere. With the smaller, more disciplined class instruction and the ability to work on their own and move at their own pace they both excelled and did much better. The teachers care about each child, the principal is the greatest and my kids grades came back up to average and beyond. I can't say enough good things about this school. They get involved. Both my kids were diagnosed with ADD or ADHD in 3rd grade. Yet, they had no problem doing a regular curriculum in this school. They learn in a 4 hours school day, more than they ever did in a 8 hour school day. There isn't extra curricular activities so if your kid wants to play sports traditional school is where they'll want to be.
Options is a wonderful school. I have been going there for about a year now, and I only have three credits left until I graduate. The principal there is a very caring, sweet woman, who goes out of her way to make sure everyone makes it through.
