My child transferred here from another school. The quality of education here is high, as evidenced by several years of academic awards. The focus on state testing made my child nervous, and I feel they shouldn't pressure the students about it like they have. The culture here is small-town America, Christian, civic and school pride. I found the staff to be very professional, and I was at the school often. I am happy with this school and would recommend it to anyone.
Elitist, obsessed with football, culturally backward, entirely geared toward state tests and funding eligibility, a handout for local teachers wanting a second income to pay for luxuries, not a man on the staff above the janitor level, wouldn't recommend this to anyone wanting their kids to gradiate without lifetime disabilities from sports injuries. Schools with lower budgets and larger classes do far better when the emphasis is on the children rather than what the adults can extract from a public-sector program. Like traveling back in time to the 50s, minus the effective curriculum. Buildings and infrastructure in disrepair, no extracurriculars other than sports and ag, rude treatment to anyone not fitting the local right-wing stereotype, pretty much a joke.
