Love, Love, Love, Mrs. Sodemann in Kindergarten! I have a Master's in Special Education, so I know what to look for ...Mrs. S. has it all....calm, friendly demeanor, passion for teaching all students, ability to differentiate instruction in the classroom, great behavior management plan fostering kindness and character, and a love of what she does and who she does it for! Mrs. S. is top notch!

Both my kids attended Ride Elementary under two pricipals and multiple teachers over a total of ten years. We LOVE Ride Elementary, and will miss the wonderful teaching and office staff, not to mention the marvelous pricipals that have run this great school. Thanks to both Cindy Johnston and Megan Burnham!

Sally K Ride Elementary is the ONLY elementary school in all of The Woodlands that is a National Blue Ribbon Winner! Our school disctrict, Conroe Independent School District (CISD) is one of five (5) 'recognized' school districts in Texas and SKR has the most committed, professional, kind principal Cindy Johnston, and her staff is dedicated to making sure all of the children who attend K-4 are safe, informed, enlightened and challenged intellectually, phyically, artistically, and they are building good characters one child at a time! We love SKRide!

My children had great teachers and got a great education there. I enjoyed working there for years with incredible co-workers.

We just moved from TX to CA. One of the things that we miss is this school. We had 4 children in the school from K-3. A couple of the kids had special needs. This school was so much more helpful than what we currently are experiencing. The school staff from the principal down were so much more involved in wanting our kids to succeed. The would probably not be this far along and performing at their grade level if not for this school.

We had an OK experience at Ride. I think that there are better schools in CISD.

My daughter loves to go to school. She enjoys her class and her teacher. She has learned so much in just her firt semester. She is already reading, she is in Kindergarden. Information has been easy for me to get and I have had plenty of opportunities to volunteer. I feel safe with my daughter at school. I think it is a great school!

The level of parent involvement is extraordinary. Extracurricular activites are generally good, although I think it is unfortunate that there are no classes in Spanish. It has been our experience that the quality of the education received depends upon the experience/tenure of the student's teacher.
