Praise the good Lord. The principal retired. This is the best news for TISD and its students ever.

The school is so old tht the teachers & administrative staff is only concerned about the boundary zone. the teachers are not friendly and when you speak to them they don't look you in the eye. i don't believe in 'team conferencing' nor should a teacher agree to conference with another parent about your student. I have never been to any other intermediate in TISD because of the attendance zone. but this is a joke of a school. Even when you call them on the phone the office staff has such a bad attitude about things when you talk to them. As if you are from another planet. Overall, i give Beckendorf a 'D'

We're now going into the 2nd 9 weeks and so far everything is great! My son loves his Teachers!! He's got awesome grades and I have no problems getting him up in the mornings to get to school! Haven't had much interaction with the Principal, but the teachers are awesome!

Not the best school Tomball has to offer, if you have the ability to move in another intermediate school area, do it! As Parents, my husband and I went from singing TSD praises to gritting our teeth and praying! I have spoken to some of the teachers I have been dealt with from other schools in the TSD and they would not send their children to Beckendorf, but instead either moved or took jobs in the school they wanted their child to attend. I have been told story after story of parents whose children loved school and were honor roll students, and once they began to attend Beckendorf, many began to hate school, or had situations occur that left parents frustrated and disgusted. It is not a happy school to be in.
