This school has a serious bullying problem and they are not doing anything about it until a kid who is being bullied fights back then they punish him for standing up for himself. The administration is well aware of the problem and aren't fixing it. Every day 100 boys are left without adult supervision in athletics for 10 -15 minutes and boys are being beaten on. The coaches are not doing their jobs when they should be there and the administration knows they aren't being supervised and has done nothing to get these teachers to do their jobs. Something has to be done before someone is seriously hurt! Protect all of the kids not just the popular ones that have money and can play sports for your teams that aren't even that good anyway. If you don't do something to stop it then you are nothing more than a bully yourself!

Apparently this school did not receive the new guidelines setforth by TISD on the new bullying guidelines. They are not helping and it is continuing constantly. This is far more than the occassional comment. This is obvious bullying in which the administration has not controlled. This is causing emotional and physical distress and an atmosphere non-condusive to learning. Trying to find another school now!

this school has a very serious problem with harrassment & teasing & bullying. the staff constantly "looks the other way" ALL students should be educated on teen acne. my child is suffering a lot of emotional pain because she has acne & is made fun of on a daily basis. the principal & staff seem to be extremely uncaring & oblivious to this terrible problem. And our kids are paying a very high emotional price for their negligence.

My son just recently graduated and completed 8th grade successfully, the school has a Good Academic program, Band is excellent. But the Bullying part is present, should be diverse and the kids should be more controlled and campaign to Stop Bullying!!! Race issue in this school too.

Willow Wood Junior High has a bullying and harrassment problem that is, in my opinion, not being addressed adequately by school officials. The band program is spectacular. At least one history teacher lets her political preferences influence how she delivers American History. The school administration should also work harder to create more possibilities for face-to-face interactions with the teachers.

I agree, this school is horrible. Bullying is endless. Teachers don't help and in some ways start the bullying. Am going to home school till we can move to another school district.

This school is AMAZING! I am a student here, and I always feel welcome. The students are average, but the teachers are great, and they expect the most from EVERYONE! If you are thinking of an area, Tomball is THE Best place to move.

this is the worst school in teaxas the teachers dont care and are dissrespecter all the time. fights go on day in and out that even teachers canot stop and the bullying is limetless.

About the tests


In 2012-2013, the State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR) was used to test students in reading and math in grades 3 through 8; in writing in grades 4 and 7; in science in grades 5 and 8; in social studies in grade 8; and end-of-course assessments for English I, II, and II, Algebra I and II, biology and US History. STAAR is a standards-based test, which means it measures how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Texas. The goal is for all students to score at or above the state standard.

The different student groups are identified by the Texas Education Agency; if there are a small number of students in a particular group, the state doesn't report data for that group.
